GMSmail

GMSmail is a SITA customization of a native X400 client. It was not much used but two problems which came about regularly were:

GMSmail cannot setup a call when running under Windows NT

When trying to dial into the network under Windows NT it can happen that the software stops with the error:
-- network connect ok
-- communication state closed
-- modem carrier loss

To solve this you have to edit the SITA.PRF and in the section [COMMUNICATION] you have to add:
-- Check_CarrierDetect=False

I cannot get access to my mailbox because of a bad password.

In the configuration the only detail which is case sensitive is the password so make sure you have used uppercase or lowercase in the right places. All other details in the configuration are not case sensitive.
